HOLLY DRIVING WHIP

The most correct and traditional whip for carriage driving.
Superbly handmade to your desired length, our hollys are created to order incorporating a plaited handle in your choice of leather colour decorated with silver or brass scrolled mount and ferrule fittings, the stick created from authentic, aged and varnished holly. The braided thong is finely plaited white leather, and the lash string.

HEAVY HORSE CANE

Usually 1 metre in length and created with plaited handle in your choice of leather colour decorated with silver or brass scrolled mount with handmade silver or brass tip atop substantial bamboo.

WELSH COB / STALLION WHIP

Traditionally used to show Welsh Cobs, but also highly suitable to show other stallions in hand. Hand plaited leather on 44cm stock with decorative scrolled detailed mount available in brass or silver finish, compete with traditional fully plaited lash with fine leather tail.

LEAD REIN/FIRST RIDDEN

Miniatures in perfection of our standard whips.
These tiny, exquisite canes are tailor made to the correct length of 40cm
for Show Horse Council and other Association's requirements.

LA PARASOLE COLLECTION

 

 

These beautiful, one off pieces are genuine antique, usually pre 1901, Victorian Edwardian, with components such as brass/rolled gold and mother of pearl and are available atop our leather plaited canes.
(Not available on bamboo due to their weight)

 

 

Being antique, they are not perfect and naturally show signs of age, for example small dents or tarnishing, some also carry engravings of the initials of their original owner and whilst we are able to carry out minor repair, some cannot be returned to their original perfection.  However, we believe, these signs of age adds to their overall authenticity and charm.  

 

 

As with our other leather plaited items, the standard length is to 72cm with flapper to complete, and commence at $270.

 

Optional extras (naturally at an additional cost) include engraving plates, diamante bling, stitched tongues, bullet tips or finely plaited tail.  Please ask for a quote on lengths over 72cm and/or optional extras.

All items are customer consignments and sold, however we regularly import these beautiful pieces.  Please ask to see what we have in stock and to design your special piece. (except for non antique La Parasole which is a standard item).

 

 

 

NON-ANTIQUE LA PARASOLE

Non antique La Parasole: these pieces are mother of pearl and brass, however, are not antique and pricing commences at $240 atop a fully plaited cane with flapper as per specifications outlined above.
